Water and Landscape Photography Workshop ~ £165 per person, One to One
Digital Water Photography Workshop includes all tuition, transport to and from the locations, packed lunch and workshop notes.
Water is always on the move, from crashing surf to flat calm lochs it never ceases to be an attraction and a lure to outdoor photographers .... and here on the Isle of Mull we have our fair share of water. With over 300 miles of coastline, numerous lochs, burns and waterfalls for us to explore there is no shortage of photo opportunities. Throughout the day we will visit different locations to photograph an example of each.
Photographing water is a fascinating and absorbing element of outdoor photography, it can be wild and dramatic or calm and soothing. Flowing like silk or frozen in time; as the photographer the choice is yours. We will consider the merits of each approach and learn the techniques involved.

This will include finding suitable locations and subjects, controlling exposure to achieve the desired effect, depth of field, the importance of lighting and the merits of suitable filters.
This is an on-location workshop so suitable footwear and clothing are essential. We will also discuss the safety aspects of working near water and precautions to take.
This workshop includes one months follow up email advice and a review of your developing portfolio.
We will adopt a flexible approach to our photo locations and will be guided by the days weather. However, in the event of adverse weather we have a well equipped workroom available that will ensure a full day of tuition no matter what the weather.
