Throughout the day the emphasis will be on developing a competent and professional approach to landscape photography. We will start by looking at the camera controls in detail and use the cameras advanced operations to achieve the required results. This gives us more control of the camera and allows us to make decisions that suit the conditions at the time of exposure.

Loch an Eilein in mid winter, Isle of Mull. The landscape offers an almost endless variety of photo possibilities, be it isolated details or a grand vista. However, we need to approach the subject with open eyes and an inquisitive mind. This landscape photography workshop will help you find your subject and then concentrate on the importance of lighting, composition, focusing, depth of field and exposure. All designed to improve the quality of your work.

Always remember that one of the greatest challenges for outdoor photographers is to find new ways to see the world around us. Knowing where to find these hidden treasures and how to photograph them will test both your creative resources and technical competence. In return it will provide many memorable days, great photographic opportunities and images to treasure.
